Well a truely memorable trip to New York City is now over but many happy memories will live on forever. This is due to the great company of my two ’50 something’ friends.
From the thought provoking visit to Ground Zero,
the ferry ride to Liberty and Ellis Islands,
a nightime visit to the View from The Rock,
there were too many special moments to single out as a favourite.
We saw singing servers and ‘Beautiful’ on Broadway,
popped along to Wall Street,
shopped on Maddison Avenue,
and strolled through Central Park.
Champagne, Prosecco, wine and cocktails flowed regularly at all times of the day.
But none of this would of been so enjoyable without the company of Mrs P and Mrs T, two lovely ladies who I fell honoured to call friends. And of course Mr M, Mr P and Mr T who encouraged us to go, and I expect are dreading their next credit card statements!
HAPPY DAYS!
